South Side Has Trained and Dedicated Individuals to Offer Support and Hope in All Aspects of Life

Bring Hope to the Community

South Side Church of Christ is constantly focused on "seeking the welfare of the city" and while we strive to continue to grow and offer more resources; below lists what we currently offer at South Side

South Side increasingly trains and certifies our mental health ministry workers in the following areas:

- QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) Training

- Spiritual First Aid Training with a focus on trauma response

- Grace Alliance Class and Group Leader Training

PLEASE NOTE: we are not a licensed mental health care or professionals, however we can get you in touch with those desired professionals.

Sometimes all someone needs is an ear to listen and a friend to talk to.  Our Pastors offer a multitude of college education and real-world experience in pastoral counseling. You can contact our main church office at (740)335-3107 to inquire about counseling sessions.

Our mental health classes are done through training conducted with Grace Alliance and we offer the following three classes.

- Living Grace: For individuals (16-week course)

- Family Grace: For families coping with or just wanting to understand support those they love (16-week course)

- Redefined Grace: For teenagers (10-week course)

These courses will be scheduled at different times annually and offered as in-person and online formats.
