Our KDZ church leaders create safe, age-appropriate opportunities for your kids to learn about Jesus. Check the FAQ below for more information on South Side KDZ.
We have ample parking surrounding South Side, including spaces for our guests close to the building and handicap parking. There is also overflow parking across the street from the front entrance of the building. Once you arrive, just look for our Parking Lot Team in the bright green greeter parking vests. Our team will help if needed and definitely greet you on the way into the church.
Some people join us 10-15 minutes early, some come for our 9am Coffee and Sunday School Classes, but you can come anytime. Our Selah Coffee Shop is open from 8:45AM - 10AM, children's check-in opens at 9:45AM in-person and you can also check them in on the app (just ask our volunteers at the CONNECT CENTER to show you how.)
At South Side you will find everything from daily street clothes, to casual, to dress shirts and ties. No matter what, you are invited to come as you are whether it is relaxed, dressed up, jeans, shorts, polos, t-shirts. We truly care more about you, than what you wear.
Our worship time is driven by a deep intentionality to lead God's people in worship. This time is not just singing songs or about personal preferences. This is a time to honor the Lord and raise our voices in biblical worship, proclaiming who we truly know Him to be and what He has truly done for us through sacrifice. In prayer we pray boldly; in preaching you expect Christ-centered proclamation of the Word. We do not take scripture lightly, and you will hear nothing less than the Word of God rightly handled. It is not man that convicts the heart, but the living Word of God.
Our worship, prayer, and message are not random or bent on cultural points; they are faith-filled, biblical, and set with a purpose for people to hear the Word of God.
We have an amazing children's team led by our children's minister and they are ready to help get you and your child settled in. We have a birth to pre-school area as well as our dedicated children's church hallway.
You can pre-register for check-in on the church app starting at 7AM in the morning. In-person check-in opens at 9:45AM at the KDZ check-in stations. All check-ins close at the start of the main gathering at 10:15AM.
PREPARE BEFORE SUNDAY:
You can set up your family profile in the Church Center App by signing in and creating an account. Please be sure to add all household members along with clear headshots of each person. If you need support, please make your way to our Connect Center or ask the KDZ church leader at the check-in stations and they will be happy to assist.
After your young witness's first checked-in KDZ church experience, you will begin receiving the monthly parent email containing the months at home devotionals, curriculum, memory verse and more, to help you as a parent stay informed and be supported in discipling your child.
After parking you will see our parking lot greeters. Give them a wave or say high on your way in.
As soon as you reach the doors, you will also be greeted with a welcoming smile, and as a first-time guest you will have the option to check everything out on your own or have one of our trained door greeters help you find KDZ check-ins, seats, coffee shop area, as well as introduce you to the pastors and any needed support staff.
